A story with some problems
Weird coincidences and highly improbable events just happen all the time in Quantum Radio. As a listener/reader you're waiting for some kind of explanation, but a satisfying one never arrives. Instead, what you're given by the author boils down to "quantum be weird, y'all" and, later in the story, gets hand-waved away by the mysterious group who sent the heroes on their adventure.
The story has 3 parts. One happening on contemporary Earth that sets up the premise and the protagonists, a large middle part in the past of an alternate-history Earth, and then a very very painful small third part at the end. Do yourself a favor and stop listening/reading after the alternate history mission is over.
If you don't, you'll be treated to a gigantic info dump on the cliché'd backstory of the shadowy organizations behind it all and, to top it all off, the author tries to set up the heroes for a TV show-like series. The fact that the author couldn't present this as part of the main story, but had to tack on this thing as essentially a giant monologue only underscores the fact that it should have been left out altogether.

Enttäuschend…
Ziemlich banale Geschichte, kein science, nur lapidare Fiktion. Wäre der Sprecher nicht so gut, hätte ich es nicht fertig hören können…
Werde die Serie nicht weiter verfolgen und sogar das Buch zurück geben…

Persians are not Arabs, even in a parallel universe
For a book that clearly caters to history and geopolitics enthusiasts, it sure is a huge blunder to imply that Iranians are Arabs and that an Iranian envoy to the founding ceremony of the fictional Global Petroleum Cartel (GPC) would wear a kafija. Unless of course the author meant that the Venezuelan envoy wore a kafija, which is even more ridiculous.
Apart from this, the book‘s alright and definitely entertaining.
