The whole plot is hanging on a thread of the willingness to ignore all the plot and logic holes. There are too many situations where (character) logic is sacrificed so that the story can progress. A lot of progress isn't earned by the characters. They work towards a goal, surprisingly fail at it, and then another surprise saves the progress - again and again. The author tries really hard to surprise you by making the story telling more chaotic than necessary. Because he fails at tying the threads together and there's certainly no lack of ties, or rather, mystery boxes. There are more mystery boxes than necessary to keep you thrilled. It would be fine it all of it got a proper resolution in the final chapter, but it doesn't really. I'll only continue because I'm too curious what's inside the main mystery box. The audio is great though, full cast including a narrator.
