As the first book it was warm and positive, especially the narrator made it a perfect and extraordinary experience.

It was relaxing but there was also some thrill and unexpected moments. It was soothing but also very deep as the author brings up many existential questions. And the comedy is very refreshing. But what I love most is, that the author gives a much more positive, hopeful and interesting perspective on a possible future (solar punk or somthing like that) than the worlds you typically see in movies or read about. It was so refreshing, exploring a world that is not dystopian or filled with hate and bloodlust. Thank you Becky Chambers!

the quitness of trying to find purpose in a wholesome world - and not doing it alone. Soothing yet - relieved of the pressure I assume all mankind had to endure so far - essential in what is attempted to highlight.

I'm writing this in hopes someone will do something to correct this. the audio quality of this brand new title is like listening to music through a blown speaker. it rumbles and crackles even in the high quality version. there are also editing issues. i can't tell you how disappointed i am as i was anticipating this title. literally it was top of my list. the story was good. the reading was good. I'd like to listen a second time but I won't. too irritating.
