Engaging Story ontop of a lot of Worldbuilding
The book might take a while to get into, as for the first few chapters readers are swarmed by concepts, names and other world-building elements. Most of these pay off later and succeed in painting a rich picture of an engaging fantasy world. Meanwhile, the story starts of as a simple heist and evolves gradually in a city spanning conflict. Once it gets going, the fantastic performances make it hard to put the book down. If you are looking for high fantasy and you have a tolerance for a bit preloaded of world-building, this book will certainly keep you entertained.
