A intruiging Story, with a Reader who incapsulated Bella perfectly I think. It's kinda a fast paced Story, which suits it. There is tension and defentitly an spooky athmosphere. I liked the characters and the family dynamic. All in all it's a good read.

I really loved this book. It really evoked similar emotions as a horror movie does to me. And the narrators voice being a young girl a lot of the time just adds to that. The ending was shocking to me, although, obviously I won't spoil that. It was a very well done, creepy, thrilling book in my opinion. I have a very vivid imagination, so I could really picture the scenes very well. I don't know how that would be for others, obviously. Let's just say, when I imagine one of my own stories and their scenes, it's almost like a movie in front of my inner eye. That definitely added to my enjoyment. I would definitely recommend this book. I didn't find it disturbing, if that's what you're looking for, but as I said - definitely horror movie-eque in nature.
5 stars for both the book and the narrator (disclaimer: I listen to books on higher speeds, so I don't know what the book would sound like on 1x speed, and whether that would change things)

This is a very, very good horror novel, told from the perspective of a little girl. But Delanie Nicole Gill really turns it into a piece of art with her unique way of telling the story. If I could give more stars, I surely would.

the premise is interesting, but the speaker is a little unpleasent to listen to.kids do not speak that way and it gets jarring after a while. the mother's character is ridiculous, especially her final monologue ruins the otherwise compelling story. too bad.

Finally a true horror book! Loved the performance as well and would definitely recommend. Then ending felt flat but it’s so worth it
