Narrator suddenly yelling in my ears for no reason made listening challenging and unpleasant.

I have been getting back into Horror fiction after a long hiatus (too much stephen king back then) and this is by far the best one so far. better than The Troop or other rescent Horror hits. If you like eldritch entities in the woods (like skinwalkers and the like) paired with demonic hautings this one is a must read.

Best Horror Book I ever read

Es war so fessend das ich hab es an einem Tag durch gehört habe.
Die Charaktere sind gut geschrieben, die Story komplex aber leicht zu folgen und der Vorleser hat einen ausgezeichneten Job gemacht.
Definitiv unter den top 10 meiner lieblingsbüchern.

It was almost perfect. I was so amazed by this writers talent - i will watch him from now on! The characters and the relationships were a little bit.. empty, for me, if it would be more komplex next time, its a totally 5* for me! And the narration.. the narration was more than perfect.. it was creepy, and the childlike-voices and the monster growls were brutally-cool! Thank you!!!
