Spellbinding immersion and rude awakening

I give it full marks for sound design and acting. I praised both highly in my review of season 1, so won't repeat myself here. Except to say, the romance between Hope and Lydia is so verry beautifully portrayed. Such a thing can easily go wrong, but thanks to the script and the acting, it moves and elates.
The story also continues in the gripping style of season 1. Until, that is, we hit hard reset in the penultimate chapter.
I can't be very specific so as not to spoil. I will say though, that the alternate history sequence and the following dialogue don’t make sense to me. Unless it means that the mind voice experienced that alternate history, which at that point would have been the actual history, and then went back Thousands of years in time to change it. Well, perhaps Doc Brown gave her a lift in his DeLorean. I don't buy it.
I'm also utterly displeased with the end. I was hoping for closure. Instead, we are left with a vague hope of spring. I'm just tired of stories that have loose ends because the publisher wants to keep the option of yet another season open.
That said though, I'm still damned fond of this piece. It was a great journey it took me on.

Meine Meinung: Bereits die erste Staffel von "Impact Winter" war schon der Hammer. Die zweite Staffel hat noch einen draufgesetzt. Ich war wieder drin im Geschehen. Die Figuren und deren Entscheidungen konnte ich zum Teil nachvollziehen und habe auch Verständnis.
Natürlich war das Arrangement und Sounddesign wieder große Klasse. Die ganze Atmosphäre war stimmig und hat zum Geschehen beigetragen. Ein Hörgenuss, dem man nicht widerstehen kann.
Travis Beacham schafft es, mich mit seiner Serie in den Bann zu ziehen und mich mit den Figuren in eine Welt zu bringen, in der es kein Sonnenlicht gibt. Die Hoffnung bleibt und es stellt sich die Frage: Wird sich die Prophezeiung bewahrheiten? Wird eines Tages das Licht zurückkehren?

Fazit: Fesselnd und spannend wie immer. Ich bin traurig, dass die zweite Staffel so schnell vorbei ist und hoffe sehr auf eine baldige Fortsetzung. Denn "Impact Winter" ist eine Serie, in der es um Vampire geht, die mich einfach gefangen hält, in eine Welt eintauchen lässt, aus der man erst auftaucht, wenn die Credits erklingen.
Natürlich war die Besetzung auch wieder großartig! Ich finde es schön, wie sich die Schauspielerinnen und Schauspieler in ihre Rollen hineinversetzen. Wirklich sehr toll gemacht. Es macht definitiv Lust auf mehr. :)

beautiful voice acting and sound design

I love all the voices and the acting and the whole feeling of the story. The sound design is truly great!
I also enjoyed most of the story until the ending. I'm just really not satisfied with it. I hope the story does continue because that really is just not an end. I'm also very confused by the stuff thats happening in the second to last chapter.
But I would say I enjoyed it overall
