In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes.
Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Intriguing storyline, superb staff, amazing writing
I enjoyed Julian Simpson's Lovecraft Investigation and the Pleasant Green Universe Audiodramas, so I was sure I was going to love this. I did.

Solid entertainment
Fantastic audio production, although a few words sounded quite distorted for some reason. I have my personal reservations against time travel in fiction, and it was pretty much confirmed here (fast-paced non-linear story telling will never be my favourite), but overall this was a treat for the ears and the brain.

Amazing audio experience
As a long-time fan of Julian Simpson's work, I loved every minute. The research and attention to detail are great as always, the story is fascinating and surprising, I loved the dynamics between the characters & the sound is just fantastic.
Glad I listened to it at home, cause it made me laugh and shout out loud ;)

Very confusing
An interesting story however the audio format made it hard to follow, above all in the end. The voices were sometimes too similar and no clear breaks between the scenes.

Amazing Performance
Loved the performance, the multiple locations and characters.

A good idea smothered by the audio engineer
The story is interesting, but it is told in an absolutely confusing way. Conversations are the only source of information, no storyteller, so one has to listen closely to every word, which additionally is made terribly difficult as background noise is too loud etc., distracting the ear.
Jumping from scene to scene, protagonists are not introduced, so if one doesn’t remember the voice, total confusion is guaranteed.
