A compelling story in the Warhammer 40k universe
This was my first Warhammer 40k book and I am quite pleased. Based on my fast superficial knowledge of the universe through the YT channel Adeptus Ridiculous, I wasn't sure if it would be just cheap, convoluted Sci-fi. Thus I was pleasantly surprised to find a compelling story, enriched by the fact that I was familiar with a lot of the concepts of the universe.

a vs storie with ad mac politcs and the dark side
just perfect, it has the perfect run time, the speaker as no bad charcter, to the last moment the storie was intersting

One of the best speaker I’ve heard
I really like this audiobook. Gives some nice insides in one of the most underrated factions.

Iits Okay if not too flat and one note
Unlike many of the best 40K books, this story is told in a simplistic and detached way, leaving the setting and characters one-note and flat. Since it's very shallow in detail, the dialogue has each character repeating the same three lines to remind you of their one role for five hours.
The author's style is heavy on sophisticated vocabulary, but it ends up flavoring the text like poetry without adding much to the description or the personalities of the characters and environment. Otherwise, it's an okay story with too much left on the table.
Theres nothing the audible narrator could have done other than come out as flat as the dialogue without sounding like he's overacting.
