During the pandemic, I was taken aback by the presence of transgender women in competitive sports and the support for this issue from certain members of the Democratic Party. With Donald Trump resuming the presidency, I anticipate a return to a more conventional approach to this topic, allowing us to concentrate on matters that impact the broader population rather than a select few. The current state of my country is deeply troubling, particularly in light of the recent fires in the Palisades of Los Angeles, a site of significant historical importance. It is disheartening to witness the erosion of our heritage while leadership appears indifferent to these losses. The swirling conspiracies and allegations surrounding these events contribute to my unease regarding our future. Additionally, the prospect of Los Angeles evolving into a smart city, coupled with the arrest of a homeless individual in connection with the fire, raises further concerns. The ongoing discourse surrounding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion seems to overshadow the pressing needs of the American populace.
