I felt compelled to address this issue on the platform. Recently, the legislature approved a bill prohibiting transgender athletes from competing in women's sports. During the pandemic, I was taken aback by the presence of transgender women in competitive sports and the support for this issue from certain members of the Democratic Party. With Donald Trump resuming the presidency, I anticipate a return to a more conventional approach to this topic, allowing us to concentrate on matters that impact the broader population rather than a select few.
