This is good and I need more
I was quite surprised by this Audiobook, as it has a bit of a slow start, but it captivates you fast and you want to know more. There are so many plot points that just come up naturally but were sadly not addressed. This book feels like a prelude to something great and it stops just the moment where it should be "starting". I hope a sequel is in production and will be released soon.

Amazing
Amazing voice acting and very immersive world. 10/10 if you like slice of life with a magical system. Reminds me lot of Beware of Chicken.

Worth Every Second
Sure, I could nitpick. The weird occasional echo that I am not sure was intended, the at times exasperating female voices, the calm tone of the main narrator almost lulling me to sleep, there is plenty to nitpick. Yet none of it mattered.
The story was riveting enough to keep me awake. So if you are looking for a good listen to get you through a long and boring night, I can recommend this despite the almost hypnotic voice of the main narrator.
The plot is intricate and, for lack of a better word, beautiful. Sure, it is a slow burn compared to your average system or litrpg novel, but it burns hot. And have I mentioned the politics? The character is not a brute, not a bumbling bumpkin, nor a supposedly "intelligent" character whose actions speak of utter artlessness. No, he is someone who dislikes politics but knows how to play it sufficiently well that his supposed age does not break my suspension of disbelief. Beautiful. His approach to science is satisfactory as well.
Now, I could go on, but I will stop here, lest I write a novel singing this one's praises.

Nur ein Anfang
Das Buch fühlt sich wie ein Vorspann an. Die Geschichte lässt sich gut anhören, kommt aber zu keinem Abschluss. Gerade wenn man denkt dass es losgeht, ist das Buch zuende. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Teil. Allerdings hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass ich diese Serie erst nach dem Erscheinen des zweiten Buches begonnen hätte.
