Nach dem ersten Teil konnte man sich den groben Inhalt dieses Bandes schon vorstellen und so ist der Plot keine Überraschung. Dafür allerdings die Umsetzung. Wie bereits der erste Teil ist auch dieser spannend geschrieben und hervorragend vorgetragen. Ein kleines Minus ist die etwas zu lang geratene Reise zu Gunsten der evtl noch spannenderen Geschehnisse in China. Das fulminante und packende Ende reißt allerdings alles wieder heraus und macht neugierig auf den dritten Band.
Insgesamt 4,5 Sterne aufgerundet zu 5 und somit eine definitive Kaufempfehlung.

Im zweiten Buch hat sich für mich die Spannung, wie sich der Weg der beiden gestaltet stark nachgelassen. Somit sind weitere Geschichten über die beiden auf meiner Wunschliste in der Priorität stark gesunken. Vielleicht bin ich von Eragon bereits zu sehr verwöhnt.
