Realistic reactions to situations? Check.
It has been an astonishing long time since I have not wanted to stop listening to an audiobook or been genuinely surprised by a story and The Raven Scholar definitely fulfilled that criteria.
The twists, the turns. It moved me, Bob.
But in all seriousness, if you are looking for a solid story to get into, I highly recommend picking up this one. The characters feel so human, especially when placed in situations that they just can't win and you can't help but cheer for them. worth every second and I can it wait for the sequel.
