schockierend
Gut geschrieben und hörenswert. Ellsberg als Insider verfügt über ein hohes Maß an Glaubwürdigkeit. Zusätzlich werden einige wenig bekannte Fakten beleuchtet, z.b. dass die USA einen Erstschlag explizit nicht ausschließen.

Fundamental book and definitely a must read/listen!
The most frightening book I‘ve read in a very long time! I knew quite a bit of what was told in the book, but the things that were new to me were really shocking. And I don‘t refer to the Doomsday Machine - I had heard of that before ...
Don‘t hesitate but listen to the full story today! Very informative and revealing. Our species is a monster- at least collectively!

I'm scared now
Almost couldn't finish this book cause I got so scared. Terrific writing, does not just bash certain people but concisely brings to your attention that it would be EXACTLY the same with anybody else, humans are wired this way and we screwed up. Must read

Will send shivers down your spine
Daniel Ellsberg makes a chilling account of historical events through his privileged insiders perspective, in a way that runs a shiver down your spine and makes clear that these are not concerns of the past but an unthinkable risk we live with everyday. Gripping, courageous and unthinkable. Simply a must.
