Just beautiful!!!
THIS BOOK!!!
I love The Great Gatsby, so I KNEW the story was right for me.
But Nghi Vo took the story to a whole new level.
I just love her writing. Everything she touches becomes such a magical story.
It's incredible.
Jordan Baker was an amazing character to go on this journey with and to experience the world.
The audiobook narrator did a really great job. I'm totally gonna relisten to this again. But I also want the physical copy.

a good book about unbearable people
I kept asking myself, why the protagonist is putting up with the people around her, but the book also provides the answer to that, in the corners, nearly out of eyesight, very much like the people she is surrounded by don't ever really bother to look at her and her life.
I am also impressed how the author managed to make me hope for Daisy to turn into a decent person and friend, because you can glimpse, like the protagonist does, a hint of potential. Read and find out.
