Enemies to Lovers ...

To be honest, in the beginning I mainly downloaded it because it was for free available. But this story, does not disappoint. Its a great enemies to lovers stories with great characters in an interesting world & story. The narrators do a great job too.

Schöne Geschichte

Unerwartet sehr schöne Geschichte mit einer starken Frau. Ich habe jede Minute genossen und freue mich auf die Fortsetzung

Enemies to Lovers

The plot is not new but enemies to lovers is one my favourites. The story is simple, girl tries to infiltrate the kingdom trough a forced marriage.
You can tell it's YA as the spice is missing.
F/M narrator. Dual POV
cliff hanger ending I am going straight to the next part.

Gutes Buch auch wenn kein Meisterwerk

Die Handlung ist vorhersehbar, aber die Charaktere sind simpatisch und die Gedichte ist spannend. Also gut geeignet um die Zeit zu Überbrücken während man auf das Nächste Buch seiner Lieblinges Reihen wartet.

It's getting better

This book has been often recommended to me and referred to Laura as a strong woman. So my expectations were high, maybe too high. Because Laura occurred to me like a useless character about most of the book. She's not getting any clue and I wanted to see a Celeana Sardothien like assassin woman.
Aaron is naive but true in his actions. I'm not intrigued by him.

But you should listen to this book anyway. Because the last third and book 2 give this characters the chance to shine and got me cheering for another prince in book 3.

Good story so far, gonna go for book two now.

The world building and characters are solid enough, the main character gets a bit annoying some of the actions taken but that's the plot of the story so can't expect anything else.

Thought I'd give it a try since as of newly it's part of the audible subscription included books, glad I did for the story has been entertaining so far.

Mostly listen to it before going asleep ( couple of times needing to repeat the chapter the next day since I had slept:) but the plot got interesting enough for me to listen to it at daytime too.

Action is moderate, but at the end of book 1# it picks up just before ending.

So worth it!

I had it in my inventory for a long time before starting it. I thought it would not be a great book because it is free. BUT I was addicted from the start. Amazing story with many unpredictable turns. Loved the characters and speakers did a great job as well.

Adventure, Suspense, Romance

I loved every minute of this audiobook! Highly entertaining and at times gut wrenching, plenty of highs and lows. I lost myself in the world with its storms, sea adventures and monstrous animals. And both Lara and Aren felt entirely believable to me.

The book makes a great read for anyone who likes politics with high stakes, impossible moral dilemmas and a slow burn romance (though not all that innocent) that is earned every step of the way. The narrators do a phenomenal job as well, I loved both their voices and the rhythm of their language.

Seriously, read it!

Much better than I thought

This audio book is worth a shot. Had to get used to the male voice, but after some time it hasn't bothered me anymore. I really enjoyed the book and will move on to part two!
Luckily the whole series is for free :)

pleasantly surprised

normally the audible original are a bit lackluster, but this book and it's sequel are well worth a listened. would not recommend the third though, as it deviates from the main characters of the first two books, and is not as good quality wise. doesn't matter though since the story of the first book concludes with the second book
