What a book! Beautifully written and great characters. Finally another good book, another marvelous plot even if it breaks your heart. Because this is what you want to read. I am already scared to wait for the finish of the series… and i just finished book 1

This is proof of how a truly very, very good book and a great story can be ruined by a bad narrator. In this case, a female narrator. I find it really strange that she mimics the male voice with such odd tones and that she also narrates the male parts. I’ve read the book and think it’s wonderful, but I’m giving the audiobook one star.

such a good book,spicy but not too spicy, loved every bit of it. I loved Charakters both Liam and Diana, and loved that Liam charished her as a Person who needed to be cared for. Also liked admission of Depression from Liam and the help he so eagerly received from Diana. The book is adventureus and full of twists that keept me on the edge the entire time.

All Monster and Gods together

Really disappointed in the live story after all the hype online. The yearning feels really childish and I just couldn’t get into it. Also everything from the narration to the word choice and setting just felt too American. Made it hard to feel like I was in a fantasy world. Sadly I didn’t like this book and can’t recommend.

Ich mag alles, das mal "anders" ist und einen anderen Ansatz ist. Dass Sie das "Bad Girl" ist und nicht er der "Bad Guy" macht es zu etwas besonderem. Die Dynamik und die Emotionen zwischen den Charakteren ist so schön spürbar und die Kluft dazwischen, wie die "2 sehr mächtigen Männern" in Dianas Leben mit ihrer vermeintlichen Überlegenheit umgehen ist so spanningsgeladen.
Einziger Schwachpunkt für mich - vielleicht auch dem Hörbuchmedium verschuldet - war aber und an die "Orientierung behalten". Es wird nicht nur die Erzählperspektive gewechselt, sondern auch viel zwischen Rückblickenden Erinnerungen, Visionen und Träumen gesprungen. Da wusste ich manchmal gar nicht mehr, wo ich mich eigentlich befand. Nichtsdestotrotz tolles Buch und ich werde sofort mit Band 2 weitermachen.
