This is exactly what it says in the short description. The protagonist isn't suddenly overpowered, and working to improve their build is the whole focus. The main character is capable but has their faults, and there is no real-world pressure.
It's a comfy book for people who like some stat crunching, and the story is there to fascilitate this, not the other way around. :)

i like the MC, he is quite funny, the explaination and storytelling is good too.
But, its a bit short for my taste.. and i missed a bit more or bigger action.
I am looking forward to the next book.
I hope the MC keeps his attitute and IQ.

Great humor coupled with wonderful storytelling.
The book uses a unique perspective on MMORPGS as it focuses on a tank class player and not a dps as is usually favored by a book series.
