The Guild of Arcane Regulation has fractured, and new forces move on the board. Drop in quality of the story
Personally, I had a lot of delay between this and the previous books, so maybe my perception of the writing style has changed in general, but I really didn't enjoy this book in particular.
The story feels a little patched together with a lot of parts not really being elaborated on beyond 'this happened' while other concepts were explained in great detail. I didn't really enjoy it and will probably drop the series at this point.

Relaxing storytelling
