If you're in the mood for eight hours of whining, this audiobook might be perfect for you. As already pointed out, the book deals with domestic violence and is not a horror story, despite how it was marketed. Personally, I found the narration lacking as well—the narrator's tone was plaintive and whiny, which made the story even harder to enjoy. Not recommended.

A Disappointing Listen

The book is solely about how an old man beats up his young wife who has been forced into marriage. If you like this kind of brutal nonsense, this is the book for you.
