Eisenhorn seeks the truth behind a string of disappearances centred around a travelling carnival and a pictographer whose images are more than they seem. Inquisitor Eisenhorn has saved worlds and beaten bad guys galore, in short, he's a hero. But he's also done some dodgy things, and they're coming back to haunt him... His struggle to justify his actions (especially the daemon summoning) make this an incredibly compelling read and rounds off the trilogy perfectly.
The Story:
Hunted by his former allies as a radical and enemy of the Imperium, Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn must fight to prove that he remains loyal as he tracks down a dangerous heretic whom the Inquisition believes dead, the dread former Inquisitor Quixos. As he grows more desperate for victory, Eisenhorn uses ever darker means to achieve his goals, but how far can he go using the weapons of the enemy until he becomes that very enemy, and no different to the traitor he hunts?

Abnett + Longworth = Epicness
The 3 Eisenhorn Books read by Londworth are just epic. I dont know how often I listend to them... it just wont get boring. Longhworth creates such a vibrant atmosphere around the characters! It is just perfect!

shocking, surprising, yet in the end a little disappointing
I guess it would be difficult for anyone to finish such a trilogy without anyone feeling even a little bit of disappointment. While the very end of the story felt rushed and left quite a bit to be desired, the entire book is full of shocking, surprising and heart wrenching moments and overall a great third entry.

Great Trilogy
A great final of the Eisenhorn trilogy, although the story gets a little bit too fast at the end. Would recommend it anyway!

An appropriate end to a charming series
The Eisenhorn novels, originally a trilogy conclude the Inquisitors story here. It is more dramatic, more heartwarming than the other novels but hold the charm of the 40k universe and fills it with eldrich horror and thrilling action on a very personal level just like the others novels did. I can recommend this series to anyone loving Sci-fi and horror and the narration by the talented Toby Longworth makes this a surprisingly immersive and chilling experience.

A fitting end to the trilogy
A wild ride, closing out the trilogy of Eisenhorn books. Toby Longworth as VA is a treat, as always.
