Heart breaking but worth it
It will break your heart a few times but it‘s such a good story! I couldn‘t Stopp listening!

Geschichte spannend, Charakter nervig
Geschichte ist spannend aber Diems Charakter ist furchtbar nervig mit all ihren überzogenen Gefühlen und in ihrer Handlung teilweise sehr unlogisch. Die ersten beiden Bücher waren deutlich besser.

Last book better than the second one
The books were ok, but sometimes a bit a bit too extended. Could have been a bit shorter and I did not like the end!

Its badly written
I liked the first book, the second less and the third just makes me furious. It is all fake feminism because the main character is supposed to be empowered but she is incapable to think. And dear Luther is being absolutely unreasonable 90% of the time but oh always so rightful and true to her.. not. The ongoing and ongoing dishonesty even when they talk about now being brutal honesty is so irritating.. and then Luther is doing the bad aura thing because he withholds crucial information- again - but oh his intentions are so pure. Not a man who is pushing his ideas through by intimidating. No no.. Furthermore our Queen finally gets in a position to gain knowledge but is about to refuse because baby-Luther needs to talk. But oh lucky-she has no other choice again. So she gets the chance to become more knowledgeable but only does so when it is shoved in her face. I swear this book annoys me beyond believe. I am not even through with it but have fought with myself so often about not wasting more time on it that I now need to write down my fury so I can bear to listen to the rest as I have now already spent too much time to not know the end (of this book). Very very disappointing book and definitely not a recommendation

Pathetic
Hoenstly this book was painful. I hated diem more with every minute. And Luther, gosh this book ruined everything. She's clueless and he's obidiently following her into ruin. It was unnecessarily streched. I was about the give up several times but I wanted to know if the author manages it to save the plot. Spoiler alert, she doesn't. Everything felt forced. I wasn't able to feel anything then annoyance. I liked all the characters the author didn't want us to like and hated those we're supposed to love. When did taryn become a knobhead? Bless him, he was one of my favourites. It felt like the author tried to make diem like a mix of feyra from acotar and aelin from tog but failed badly. Diem is immature, stubborn and resisting good advises constantly and despite the common praise that she's smart, she isn't! Absolutely freaking not! You can call a moth a butterfly as many times as you wish, doesn't change the fact that it's a moth. Long story short this was a massive let down

The main character gets utterly annoying
I am only a handful hours in the last book but the main character just has no development and stuck on her thinking, absolutely annoying the more time passes. Hard to continue.

Devastatingly overdramatic and either more potentially endings than The return of the king
All those overly dramatic turning points, one horrific threat after the other with nearly no central orientation but rather catastrophic revelations are far too much for one book. Even for one whole series … I really enjoyed the beginning of the story … Diems fight had so many parallels to our recent history and injustices. Her non-compromising character with all her strength, spite and sense of humor were very sympathetic once. Arriving at book three, she more and more seems lost and drowning in all these plot twists, stabbing and new characters right around her.
I think I will not finish the series, for it has become far too chaotic to be promising.
