Was wäre wenn....
Ein Psychokrimi mit einigen unerwarteten Wendungen die für hochgradige Spannung sorgen.
Die beiden narrator sind einmalig und verstehen es den Zuhörer/in komplett in ihren Bann
zu ziehen

brilliant!
I watched the movie and loved it so much. So I really wanted to check out the difference from the book. Gillian Flynn is one of my favorite writers- read all her books. But Gone Girl is still one of my favorites.

Nick And Amy Dunne...Couple Of The Year
First of all I have to say that I thought I will not like this book because I'm not particularly a Thriller reader. I couldn't be more wrong.
Nick and Amy Dunne are the most effed up couple I've ever had the chance to "meet". Seriously it gave me the feeling as if I was watching a reality show that I somehow don't want to watch but I can't stop watching no matter what. Also this was the first time I encountered that I couldn't trust the narrators, I never had that in a book before. Both Nick and Amy paint a picture of themselves that they want you to believe.
Although the first big twist was pretty obvious, I did not see everything coming. All in all it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions.
Note: I listen to this book because I thought it might be boring and therefore it is easier for me to listen to a boring part than to read it (because I automatically will close the book and put it away) but those two narrators did an amazing job! Brilliant!

Fascinating story. Top narration.
Loved it and I felt the 2 readers really captured the tone of the book and all the little subtleties of the characters and their thoughts.

Great Story , but the end…
Great Story, amazing writing but the end feels rushed.
I feel like Amy would have managed to make Nick fall in love with her again, because the way the writer described Nick , he clearly has his own issues and both are a bit deranged 🤭 and that would made sense that they would do the best out of all giving the fact that they got to know each other like no one else.

Sehr spannend
Sehr spannend und immer wieder eine unvorhersehbare Wende der Geschichte. Allein der Schluss erfüllt für meinen Geschmack nicht das Niveau der Geschichte

surprising twists
i liked the book and the Insights in the characters . I surprised myself finding them sometimes sympathic although they are far from it. Their thoughts were sometimes funny and challenging. especially about the roles of women and men in their relationships. a human book about psychos

Cool Girl Mode // OFF
Eine gute Geschichte. So eine, bei der man in's Schwanken gerät: Wer ist der gute, wer ist der böse. Oder sind sie es alle zu gleich? Einige Passagen geben mir als Frau selbst viel Denkanstoß, besonders Amy's Rede gen Ende.
Es bleibt bis zum Ende spannend und was mir dabei noch mehr gefällt, realistisch. Der Schreibstil ist 1A.
Die Sprecher sind auch gut, das ganze Buch/Hörbuch in leichtem Englisch gehalten. Werde ich mir auf jeden Fall wieder anhören.

Brilliant book excellently portrayed
I will only say that this book and its narration will always keep you gripped... Just let it build up slowly to have your mind blown in crazy twists...
