Nice side story, a little too distracted
If you just can't wait for the next book of the Stormlight archives, this is a nice side story about Lift. It includes a few nice bits of background about the herald of justice and a few other figures, but overall it is mostly inner dialog comedy of the main character Lift.

for me the weakest part
The worksheet archives are complex books, sometimes hard to follow. But then they are compelling. This novel was a lot lighter and more straight forward. Also the way the main character Lift acts to me often was not totally believable.
Still, worthwhile listening, and I do look forward a lot to the next main book.

Good, but not amazing
I liked to hear more about the intriguing character Lift, an this story does this, apart from the direct repetition in the first chapter. Unlike for some other characters in other books of this world, here the story touches some depth only to shy away from it again. At least this is how I felt the story developed, a forward an backward movement. Still, I enjoyed it.

Amazing Lift
Lift is a fun and entertaining character. Damn that missing 10th pancake, she really earned it.

Loving this humorous excursion in this series! Such a nice character definitely was the right decision to dive deeper here.

Really more of a Filler-Book
I really like Lift as a character, but this book in the series doesn't really add as much as I espected. I was somewhat annoyed that the first part was also just a repeat..
