great sequel

Nash hasn't seen his best friend a whole lot since she got engaged to her boyfriend Adam. They also didn't get around to talking a lot and when he finds out she has moved back into their hometown and not told him he is pissed!

Maddie has just escaped her abusive ex and is trying to gain footage again. Coming home seems like a good idea until she stands in front of her best friend and knows she won't be able to keep her secret long. When he sees the bruises on her ribs she has to tell him everything and shortly after she realizes that Adam has found her. Can Nash and his brothers protect her or is she endangering them. And through all that are more of her secrets going to be revealed? Because she has been keeping her feelings for him hidden as well.

I really loved Nash's and Maddie's relationship and that their friendship was the base of everything. The plot twist in the end was shocking and overall the book was written well. The audio book is narrated beautiful and I loved listening to the main characters. For me the suspense was not intense enough and I couldn't connect to the characters as well as in the first book. Still loved every second and can recommend this book to anyone!
