The story continues, with a couple of suprises
The story continues and expands, introducing new characters. New goals are set and more is revealed about the world. Betrayal, unexpected aliances and a suprise common foe.
Can't wait for the next book.

quickly becoming my favourite series
jeff hays just turns everything he touches to gold.
the quality of writing is incredibly consistent.

Best Book in this Serie so far
Like the previous books just a great work.
This Book is my favourite so far.
Realy like progression of the protagonist and His People in his dungeon.

First Two Books were good.
The whole pacifist Stuff annoys me too much. His minions (Non human) get killed left and right while he lets the killers free because "humanity and stuff". He lets people go that killed a lot of his minions and will do the same in the future. Annoys the hell out of me, as if his minions were nothing to him, as if they were not sentient. The Plot Armor of a lot of characters bugs me too, Stuff is just too predictable and cringy. First two Books were quite good while this one is predictable and I dont even have to read the fourth one to know what will happen.

nope, you lost me
Sometimes it only needs one small part to smash the story to pieces. I can't finish it now.
In the stories before some problems also existed, like sacrificing his spiderlings as if they ment nothing while nearly throwing away his life to protect humans that weren't even friendly towards him, but there was still enough to suspend my disbeliefe....this time it got shattered in 1 quarter of the story.
I can't say it's bad, it's pretty much the same as before, that's why I won't give it the worst rating, but I can't stomach the (in my opinion) wrong character development anymore.

Obvious plot is obvious
It had to happen. Something I was truly glad hadn't returned to bite the heroes backsides has, of course, returned to bite them in the backsides.
I seldom stop in the middle of a book but even though I couldn't get enough of the previous two, I just couldn't get myself to listen to any more of this one. There might be a glorious reveal or even surprise hidden in the later chapters but there is not even the slightest suspense created in the start to suffer through the boring middle part.
