The multiple twists in the story seemed very forced, which made the story weaker, in my opinion.
The narrator did a good job, and as a reader I followed the twists to begin with, but it ended up being too much. I did finish the book, and at least it did not suggest the need for a follow-up.

The story started out good, but the plot twists…!
