Pacing too slow to get hooked
The pace is really slow and the story barely moves forward. The romance is too fast compared to how slowly the story unfolds. There's a little hesitation in the beginning by the FMC, but that's about it. So if you're looking for a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance, you're in the wrong place.
Another negative point for me was the amount of inner monologue from the FMC, consisting of basically the same thoughts over and over again. Also, there is very little interaction with secondary characters. Most of the time it's just the FMC and the MMC. This also keeps the world building to a minimum for me.
The whole atmosphere of the book is nice though. I like the FMC and the MMC. The banter is okay. The writing style is good too. Therefore I would try something else by the author.
Maybe a book to listen to while doing something else, not to focus on.

Magic like you haven’t seen before
I profusely enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The narrator is simply great. Also the story in general is very internet. The way magic works is so innovative, just outstanding when compared to other books. I had my moments when I was a bit unhappy or annoyed with the protagonist but overall she’s quite lovable. Absolutely recommend.

Very good book, world building could be improved
A very good fantasy romance book with some steamy scenes. The characters are interesting and the storyline develops nicely. The author has a lot of potential. The narrator is amazing.

Dieses Buch ist unglaublich langweilig!!!!!
Ich bin jetzt ca. bei der Hälfte und ich kann es kaum glauben wie langweilig dieses Buch ist!!! Sehr enttäuschend
