Every single child on the continent was taught martial arts for the sake of fighting these Primordial Beasts, yet many of them were sent straight to their death.
In this world filled with constant battle, a young boy was born. This young boy was hoping to become the most outstanding cultivator, but who would have thought that his talent was so poor that he could not even cultivate?

sexist, Flat Characters and ok world building
The main character isn't a good person, which is the best part of this series. He isn't necessarily bad but he is far from someone who goes out of his way to save everyone. This is great because it allows the world building to focus on parts of the world we don't often get to see in a cultivation story.
While the world building isn't great it's interesting enough to keep me wanting to learn more, especially when combined with the strange history of the main character.
The writing is straight forward and makes for a pleasant experience if there wasn't this one big problem. The world, every character and everything is extremely sexist. Every women is objectified for sex (men lusting after them, harems, etc) and the only exception is the main antagonist who is a crazy murderers monster. You could argue the the main love interest is a bit more rounded but in the end while the author tells us that she is badass, she is never shown as such. Also the wired gay jokes don't really help with this. Seriously how is it that in a world where magic makes men and women equally powerful women are ok with being treated as walking sex dolls?
This leads to the last big problem. There are only 3 kinda of characters. The evil ones who oppose the main character (those are the most interesting as they seem to be able to act on their own) the main character who's character can be summarized as I kill everything in may way otherwise live and let die with no growth or change throughout the series and lastly his group of friends. Describing them as zombies would imply that they have an agency they don't have. I can't remember any of them taking any independent action.
