...im ersten und zweiten Buch, passiert nicht viel. Einige Gedankenspiele, Tests und kleine Fortschritte. Teile etwas irritierend wie die Story verläuft. Wenn man es bis zum dritten Buch durchhält, wird es interessant und kommt auf seine Kosten. Ich war teilweise gelangweilt, so dass das Buch nebenher und zum Einschlafen lief. Es macht nichts aus, wenn man das eine oder andere Chapter misst.

Zieht sich, wird aber besser..

Most of the books are about Artorian training, basically teaching us the mechanics of the magic system, but then in the end only the fact Artorian is now "awesomer" is then used, none of the details have any bearing on the end.

Also the conflict is REALLY stupid. So a raiders kidnap young children to train them to be raiders, but somehow only the kids from Artorians village are worth saving, the rest are just mindless suicidal raiders, or killed without a second thought, that they too are kidnapped children.

And Artorian has no sense of urgency, and will gladly spend years perfecting himself, without considering if this is the best use of his time, or the children could be brainwashed (like seemingly all other kidnapped children are).
