Can't recommend enough!
This book got it all. Romance, suspence and great characters. I loved every minute of it. On top it's read by my two favorite narrators. Can't recommend enough.

The queen of romantic suspense did it again!
I love this type of book because it makes me feel like a detective, connecting all the missing pieces (see what I did there). But with Catherine, it’s always more fun because she’ll karate chop you with a twist, leaving you like, WTF! This person wasn’t even on my suspect list!
As for the romance aspect, I truly enjoyed how they got to know each other before anything happened. I would describe this as a very strong dislike-to-lovers trope.

Pretty boring
Very formulaic story with the same old tropes and characters. While the idea of a podcaster with family trauma had merit, the execution was lacking and the FMC‘s constant pain and exaggerated empathy came across as over the top and insincere pretty soon. The dialogue felt trite and cringey at times and I personally hate when the „gruff alpha male“ seems incapable of forming complete sentences. It works for light entertainment, but don’t expect to be wowed.
