Die Geschichte erzählt von Jackson, einem Artificer. Er kann in der Welt der Magier. Leider keine eigene Magie wirken. Deshalb ist er ein begeisterter Bastler und versucht sich mit Gelegenheitjobs über Wasser zu halten.
Sein Navmchbar und Jugensfreubd Xander ist. Das genaue Gegenteil. Reich und mit Magie gesegnet.

Zachary Johnson macht einen wirklich tollen Job uns Jackson und seine.. Stimmungen näher zu bringen.
Eine unterhaltsame Geschichte mit netten Wendungen und genug liebenswerten Charakteren, dass sicher für jeden etwas dabei ist.

It's read by someone with great pacing who can give everyone their own voice without it gliding into caricature. Could listen to the man for days.
Excellent world building, that makes you hope that one day magic will be close the gap between travelling the world and not leaving a carbon footprint as big as a house.
A group of friends with their flaws, but you just know that everyone will always stand up for the others. And there is a cool griffin you just have to love!
And last but not least, there is this engaging childhood friends to enemies to not so much enemies any more story :-)
Can only warmly recommend it to everyone who loves themselves a bit of an urban fantasy adventure!
