Until it’s not.
Because Vadoma, the leader of the gypsy clan and Sam’s grandmother, has come to the City of Lockes with a dire prophecy written in the stars: a man of shadows is rising and will consume the world unless Sam faces his destiny and gathers the five dragons of Verania at his side.
And she brings along her second-in-command, a man named Ruv. Ruv, who Vadoma says is Sam’s true cornerstone.

Lots of laughs even as the plot is thickening!
After listening to the first book, I wasn't sure I would have the time and patience to commit to an entire series. Ultimately, the curiosity won out though, and I got this second book.
it was absolutely worth it. the plot is thickening, and drama is increasing, yet the story remains hilarious and doesn't lose any of its charm.
I'm gonna be listening to the third one asap.
I wouldn't have expected such a fun and hilarious story with such lovable characters to also have as much depth to it as it does, but TJ Klune must be a genius, because there is, and it is awesome.
love the narration and the voice impressions, they fit the characters super well in my humble opinion. also they are really dang impressive!

Absolutes Höhrvergnügen! Neben der ganzen absurden Komik und der tollen Fantasystory an manchen Stellen auch fast gruselig! uhhh

hear it. enjoy it.
I loved every second of it. It's such a sassy, wicked, lovley, breathing story. I'm a big fan of TJ Klune since under the wispering doors (must read/hear!!!) and since book one also of Lesley. Fantastic books, and so much story in everyone of them, it's amazing to me how much he can fit in every of his books♡♡

Outstanding narration!
Epic plot, fantastic storytelling and excellent narration. This is one of my favorite audios of all time!

Romance, Fantasy, Sex
Auch der zweite Teil enttäuscht nicht. Etwas mehr Abenteuer, etwas weniger Romanze, immer noch superlustig, trotzdem mit echtem und tiefen Gefühlen. Ich liiiiebe den Sprecher, er ist unfassbar gut.
