Captivating from beginning till end.

Disappointing
A Town of Onyx" promises a captivating journey into the realm of fantasy, but it fails to deliver, largely due to its protagonist, Arwen. While the fantasy world crafted by the author holds potential, Arwen emerges as one of the most unsympathetic and grating central characters in the genre. Her portrayal as dim-witted and excessively fixated on the male lead detracts from the overall immersion in the story. Despite the intriguing fantasy elements, Arwen's characterization falls flat, hindering the reader's engagement with the narrative. As a result, this book earns a modest two-star rating, as its fantasy world is overshadowed by the exasperating presence of its protagonist.
