Sara Shanning strives to write fiction with a little edge. Sara has used writing as an outlet for the trials and tribulations of life for as long as she can remember. Using the clash of light and dark from her own life, she seeks to delve into places unknown, with people who do not exist, to bring the truths she has discovered to life in written form. Always more comfortable with the people she creates rather than real flesh and blood, bringing her work to the world is demolishing her life-long goal of being a hermitess, but also bringing a dream to life. Her favorite drink is, of course, coffee. She adores cats because they are soft and cuddly and go away when she has things to do. Her long-time favorite movie is Anne of Green Gables. Books come and go on her bookshelves, but a childhood version of Cinderella always remains, old editions of Shakespeare, and scatterings of other offerings stuffed in every space to entice and spur the imagination.
