Just right for a busy mum who loves a good book!
Just what I was looking for, the right amount of love story but with a great plot, some twists and turns and a bit of a mystery... Loved it!

I liked it the narrator. She did an amazing job. The story had potential but that missed between chapters, so at the end I couldn't figure out who he really was Owen. This character seems important for the story but at the end is not relevant. There was a few moments when you think something exciting is gonna happen, but at the end nothing happen. Is a soso for me.

Riveting
This story grabs you by the hand and makes you run along on a ride that is so enthralling, you wish it will never end and at the same time want it to end immediately. Amazing!

Can't write what I really think without spoiling..
I got this audiobook because I liked the reader, but she was not as brillant in this one. Luckily, the story was good, different from many others. I Was surprised, disappointed and other things of the end - but still a cool idea for a crime/love story with a teenager/stepmom twist.

Ganz okay
Also: von einem Sieger des Goodread-Choice-Awards hatte ich mir mehr erwartet. Die Geschichte war interessant, einfühlsam und recht glaubwürdig. Und gut gelesen. Aber vom Hocker hat sie mich nicht gehauen.

Well writen thriller

I was hooked from the start
There are stories, that are told in a way I get sucked in immediately. This was one of them. I couldn't stop listening.

Nicely read, but text full of cliques and plot rather flat
I liked how the reader brings the different characters to life with naturally sounding voices. But the book itself is disappointing. I could predict what would be said in many dialogue sequences. Good for listening while driving, when you want something you can follow while not paying full attention.
