  • Inhaltsangabe

  • Voices of Kahnawà:ke is a two-episode podcast featuring Indigenous youth sharing stories about their community. Eighth-grade students from Kahnawà:ke Survival School came up with the ideas, and worked with students from Concordia University's Department of Journalism to bring their stories to life.

You can learn about Kanien'kéha names, visit the community's Harvest Festival, and learn how a young Indigenous storyteller is inspiring the students.

And you'll learn some of the legends of the community, including the story of a very special church bell and the story of the "Top Hat Man".
