  • Pray It Forward - Mercy For Our Nation
    Jan 15 2025

Today we are praying for God's mercy to be over our nation.

Exodus 33:19 NLT: " The Lord replied, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, Yahweh, before you. For I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.”

Micah 7:18 NLT: " Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love."

Psalm 145:9 NLT: "The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation."

Lamentations 3:22-23 NLT: "The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning."

May the Lord have mercy and extinguish the fires! May the Lord have mercy and our nation have peace particularly through this next week with the Sanctity of Human Life Sunday (January 19) and the inauguration, and Martin Luther King Jr Day (January 20).

    Jan 13 2025
Today host Carrie Hurley led a heartfelt discussion centered around Philippians 2:14, emphasizing the importance of doing everything without complaining or arguing. She pointed out that complaining is a common struggle, resonating particularly with the example of the Israelites, who often grumbled despite God's provision. The episode explored the consequences of a negative attitude, highlighting how it can harm relationships and undermine one’s role as an ambassador for Christ. Encouragement was offered through scripture, reassuring listeners that in Christ, they are free from condemnation and can rely on God's work within them.
