    Dr. Mark Knetsch’s second sermon of his new series from the Book of Deuteronomy called Mobilizing In Moab, looks at the Israelites, who after forty years of wandering, have settled on the plains of Moab. All that separates them from the Promised Land is the Jordan River. They can see the promised land!  But, before they can enter, the Lord sits them down for instructions. The whole book of Deuteronomy is about God instructing and mobilizing his people for the future. Obviously, the historical context for the church of Jesus Christ is much different than it was for the Israelites. But Paul wrote regarding the Israelites in I Corinthians 10:10-11 that “these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come.” In this podcast, Pastor Mark will be teaching out of Deuteronomy 3:18-22 about the importance of looking out for one another and fighting spiritually for the cause of others. While, at the same time, trusting the Lord is the one fighting for us.
