Harry, after suffering from an opioid addiction and completing his pathway to recovery, now uses his experience to lift up others who are dealing with addiction in and around his community. Rep. Dean, alongside her son's recovery, has introduced and promoted legislation aimed at combating the opioid epidemic and ending the stigma around those suffering from drug and alcohol abuse.
