  • FOCUSING ON ALL THINGS FARM AND ANIMAL Some of our avid readers might notice that this, yes, is indeed the “Animal and Farm” issue. But for those same avid readers, they might be questioning why, oh why, is this coming out in February – and not March like all of the other years. Well, there’s a good reason for this! You see, next month – March of 2023 – is kind of a big deal for us. This magazine is turning double digits. Main Street Magazine is going to be ten years old! Can you believe it? I can, and can’t at the same time. Have I really been producing this for that long? It doesn’t seem that long, not really. But I suppose looking back, it really has been that long since I forged ahead, asked Ashley to quit her job and come work for me and then she and I went door-to-door in the middle of winter selling advertising, while I networked with local writers like Christine and Mary, who have become incredible friends. It’s been a ride!
