In this  noir psychological mystery, we meet Adam McClure, an actor in his first session with a new therapist. He's initially reluctant, yet intrigued by the prospect of finally making sense of unsettling events that happened in his life years ago. The mystery begins as Adam sets up the story, revisiting his early life  moving to New York City in the late 90's; and meeting one of the people who will, in time, shift Adam's life immeasurably. An Audio Drama in 7 episodes.

Adam  becomes more comfortable discussing his past, and another job, during which he meets the enigmatic Dylan Lodge, who quickly takes Adam under his wing.  Dylan gives Adam a book; the mystery within will prove to be important to Adam. Though they become  fast friends, Adam also recalls some unsettling moments regarding Dylan, which set up their relationship going forward. Adam makes a big change, content with leaving his past behind.

A former coworker begins to reveal some details about Caroline. With his therapist, Adam recounts his coming into his own in New York, and meeting a familiar stranger at a friend's party.  Adam travels to Portland with his new boyfriend and has a strange run in with an old friend leaving him unsettled, anxious, and with the feeling something isn't right.

Adam confronts Tom about the unsettling meeting on the street, hoping they can get on the same page about their individual and collective histories with Dylan. Adam tries to remember everything that was said, feeling a creeping anxiety as he retraces his steps in Portland; The unsettling mystery continues as Adam recounts the strange episode with his therapist, before taking the train back toward New York as more is revealed.

After the train ride, Adam is left shaken and still making sense of unsettling events of the past few days. He reveals more to his therapist about the mystery surrounding Dylan; the shift in his perception of Tom. As Adam tries to remember exactly what Dylan said to him in Portland, he reaches out to two old friends, asking Kelly and Nolan to fill in some of the blanks regarding Dylan and his past.

Adam hears from an old friend after several years, and a plan is set in motion for a future meeting. In the cold new year, Adam and Tom plan on seeing each other for Tom's opening night in Portland; Tom looks forward to meeting Tony before returning to  New York in a few weeks. Adam reveals more about some unsettling events in NYC, and his reunion with Tom takes some unexpected turns.

In this final episode of the series, Adam decompresses, revealing more to his therapist about the strange events with Dylan years ago.  Adam gets a visit backstage from an old friend, and reconnects in ways that will affect his life going forward. He meets someone he's interested in  and discusses the possibility of being in a relationship again in the future. Adam reflects on the full circle nature of the events and coincidences in his story and in his life.
