  • As Derfel and Morgan begin the journey back with Bedwin’s body, Ceinwyn reveals to them that Gorfydd has formed an alliance with the Saxon, Aelle. Upon returning to Dunmonia, Derfel discovers Arthur has banished Nimue to the Isle of the Dead. Meanwhile, Morgan is bereft at the death of Bedwin, confronting Arthur over it. Sansum takes pity on her, and they grow closer. Derfel disobeys Arthur’s orders and goes to the Isle of the Dead to rescue Nimue.


    Co-writer Ed Whitmore joins host David Craig as they discuss the darker side of Arthur and the process of adapting a beloved book series.
