In this episode of Carrier to Current: The History of Cabrini Radio, we hear about GMs and exec staff members that were on the Cabrini Radio staff that were part of the structure of Cabrini Radio. From having lots of execs help run the station, to having less execs, the structure of Cabrini Radio has changed over the past 40 years. Fulfilling the day-to-day responsibilities as an exec staff member of Cabrini Radio, there’s plenty of roles that have needed to be filled in order to maintain the structure of Cabrini Radio. We’ll hear about the change of the structure of Cabrini Radio from the beginning, to the Cavalier Radio era. We’ll hear about a rock format that Cabrini Radio once had, to a present day variety format. Turning the radio station into a bigger program was important, and we’ll hear how that was done. Being a student-run radio station, Cabrini Radio has always been about providing hands-on experience for students, and providing leadership opportunities to be successful as a college radio station.
