Serving the citizens of El Dorado County along with Tahoe and Placerville as well as several other counties in Northern California since 2022 as our elected Assemblyman Joe has been committed to serving his citizens with integrity, compassion but most importantly a conservative conscience and platform. He's been a busy guy especially fighting for and sponsoring  bills and regulations on Fentanyl, Sex Offenders, County Rights, Domestic Violence and Gun Safety to name a few. 

It has been brought forward by a non-disclosed developer, that the area of Rescue ( yes folks, a few miles from El Dorado Hills) off Deer Valley has been slated to house TWO large mental health and addiction services commercial center, along with a third location in Shingle Springs for "Pro-Natal" Services to people qualified and on California Medi-Cal system and Native Program services. This extremely rural area with little infrastructure, other major services of hospital and law enforcement area is not equipped to sustain a major shift in the trajectory of this area. 

In the Sheetz v. El Dorado County case, the Supreme Court will determine the constitutionality of permit fees, especially impact fees. Sheetz who was applying to build a modest manufactured home, was hit with 23400.00 in Impact Fees by the El Dorado County Building Fees for Road Impacts.  This practice of fees collected by the counties all over the country, have been misappropriated and often re-allocated to other projects, costs and impacts not always relating to the parcel (s) being fined.
