After convincing overbearing, overly cautious parents, Meenu, Devan and their party animal chaperone Rahul fly from Mangalore to Coogee beach to start their life-saving training. They soon realise that Australia is nothing like what they expected.

While Devan is determined to make a good impression on mentor Shaunie, Rahul fears he has made some powerful enemies. And Meenu is harbouring a secret.

Meenu has found a new passion that she can't tell the boys about. Luckily Rahul's too busy hitting up the Sydney queer scene! But when he doesn't return after a night out, Meenu and Devan set out to look for him, only to find themselves in a compromising position.

Devan enlists Shaunie's help, and sets out on a secret mission to Little India.

Rahul has an encounter with a shark, only to find himself facing something much scarier: falling in love.

Meenu smashes her first surf competition, but when celebrations get out of hand, Meenu finds herself in trouble with the law.
