Aanya Niaz is the Founder of The Maple Advisory Group and a Senior Management Consultant currently based between London and Lahore. She has 13+ years of experience as a practitioner and researcher in the education sector. Most notably, Aanya led the development of Pakistan’s first English as a Foreign Language Curriculum for the world’s largest low-cost private school network, The Citizens Foundation; advised governments on their national evaluation and assessment policies with the OECD in France; and taught middle & high school students as well as professionally developed teachers in the US with Teach For America, in South Africa with Raise The Children International and in Pakistan with various organisations.

Anna Paula de Moraes Bennech is a Political Science Ph.D. candidate at the University of Würzburg (Germany) and a research fellow at the DFG Research Group 2757. She holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and a Specialist's degree in Communication Planning and Image Crisis Management from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). She is currently the Secretary-General and Institutional Relations Manager at the Brazilian Research and Studies Center (BRaS). Her research agenda encompasses self-governance, statehood, gender, and sexual and reproductive rights.

Amreen Poonawala is a Product Manager at UNICEF, in the Office of Global Innovation, where she drives product strategy and development for digital solutions that leverage AI, blockchain, and XR technologies for social good. Amreen recently earned her M.Ed. in Technology and Innovation from Harvard University. She chatted with us about her time at Harvard and how she started her own EdTech company, ChalkEd, that aims to make online classes engaging and equitable for every student.
