Über diesen Titel
Trinity Morris, cofounder of You're Not Alone, has a domestic violence past that still haunts her 10 years later. She is devoted to helping victims find freedom and to sharing information on how to help them through their emotional and violent trials.
While Trinity is presenting at a seminar, she comes across Gavin, a police officer who knows her past all too well. It's been 10 years since he last saw her, but the moment Gavin's eyes land on her, he's intent on getting to know the woman who has haunted his dreams all these years.
Can Gavin break through the wall that Trinity has built around herself, or will the present and the past collide and take her away from him again?

Powerful & Emotional
Upon reading the title, I thought it was only about an all out pure emotional romance. It is.... BUT, a whole lot more!
It was a powerful story of what it is like a victim of Domestic Violence/Abuse.
The story went out strong the first chapters into understanding the effects and consequences of Domestic Abuse and Violence not only physically, sexually but more of mentally and psychologically. And how the trauma could affect a victim and survivor the rest of their lives. The heroin, Trinity, is a domestic violence survivor who almost died in the hands of her own abusive husband (was a police officer, who was charged and imprisoned). Ten years had passed, she dedicated her life through her non-profit Organization in assisting and helping other women, victims, of domestic violence. Unexpectedly, she met again the policeman, Gavin (who saved her from her husband and brought him behind bars), in one of her Seminars for victims & law enforcers. And he brought back the light of love in her heart that she had missed for so long. But will she let him in? Will she conquer her fears? Has she healed the wounds and trauma from her horrifying experience in the hands of a man she had loved and she thought loved her?
But Gavin, had loved her the first time he met her ten years ago. Now that fate brought them together again, his love, patience and determination will prove Trinity that true love does exist. And he will be the one to show and prove her that. Broken or not, every human being deserves a second chance at love. To love and be loved. And that is Trinity and Gavin's story.
It is a smooth romance(+) story that will not bore you nor will disappoint you till the very end. Every chapter and in-depth story makes sense. Stacy S. Eaton created not only a powerful story of love but also an emotional in-depth look at one of the world's overlooked social and human rights problem. Domestic Violence and Abuse. This book empowers not only victims but for everyone to take a stand against this human violation.
