X Minus One premiered in April 1955 on NBC and ran until January 1958. Like its predecessor series, Dimension X, X Minus One featured stories by the greatest names in modern science fiction: Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein, Clifford Simak, Robert Bloch, and many more.

... well, at least an Earthman walks into a bar, and claims to be a Martian. Inside of the body of an Earthman. The bartender calls a journalist who has a knack for such strange tales...

Frederic Brown is a master of the ultrashort story, and this audio play is actually based on one of his longer stories. It's a satirical little gem from the "Golden Age" of science fiction, that is, around the 1950s.

The (radio) audio play comes from the same time, and the sound quality is not the best (some low and high frequencies are missing). This makes listening somewhat more difficult if you don't understand spoken English very well in the first place.

However, the speakers are very good and clear, and the story is not too difficult to follow, and I liked it a lot.
